Off The Sofa
A dating app built to get people onto real dates
App / in developmentNo public site to visit. Screenshots below.
Off The Sofa replaces endless chat with a short question round and a date request. Each person asks up to five preset questions, either can then ask for a date, and a planner finds times when both are free. Matched couples are exclusive until the date, and a review afterwards keeps everyone honest.
Highlights
- Preset question rounds instead of free-text chat
- Availability planner that suggests times that suit both people
- Exclusive matching: both profiles leave search until the date
- Date-day quick messages and post-date reviews
- Inclusive from launch, any gender seeking any gender
