Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This policy explains how Jacks Golf Lounge uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on this website, in accordance with art. 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidance of the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files or records that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, store information in your browser in the same way. Depending on who sets them, they can be first-party (ours) or third-party (set by other companies whose content appears on our pages).
2. What this site uses
This website is deliberately light on tracking. We use no advertising and no analytics cookies. What we do use:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| jacks-consent | First-party, technical (localStorage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so we do not ask on every visit. Exempt from consent as strictly necessary. | 12 months |
| jacks-lang | First-party, technical (localStorage) | Remembers your preferred language (English or Spanish). Exempt from consent as strictly necessary. | Until you delete it |
| Google Maps cookies | Third-party (Google) | Set by the embedded map on our contact section, which loads only after you accept in the cookie banner. Details in Google's cookie policy. | Set by Google; see its policy |
Fonts and all other page resources are served from our own website; no fonts or scripts are loaded from third-party servers without your consent.
3. Accepting, rejecting and changing your mind
- On your first visit a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, with both options equally easy to choose. If you reject, the map is simply not loaded and a direct link to Google Maps is offered instead.
- You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, which shows the banner again.
- Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again.
4. Deleting cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings:
