We deliver our old school cakes, puddings and sweet treats within about 5 miles of Redditch, Worcestershire. Chocolate concrete is a classic British school dinner pudding: a dense, crunchy chocolate shortbread baked in big trays until crisp, traditionally served with hot custard — often pink (strawberry) custard. Ours is baked to the old school recipe and cut into generous canteen-style squares.

Our range includes chocolate concrete, cornflake tart, chocolate cornflake cake, old school sponge with white icing and sprinkles, jam and coconut sponge, butterscotch tart and pink iced sponge — plus retro sweets like sweet cones, sherbet dips, cola cubes and rhubarb & custard sweets.

Every cake can be ordered with classic vanilla custard, pink (strawberry) custard, chocolate custard or mint choc custard — or swap the custard for vanilla or strawberry ice cream. You can also add toppings like hundreds & thousands, mini marshmallows and crushed flake.

Collection from Redditch is free. Local delivery within our 5-mile area (covering Bromsgrove, Studley, Alvechurch and nearby) is arranged when we confirm your order — any small delivery charge is agreed with you before you pay anything.

No payment is taken online. Place your order request on the website and we'll confirm it by email or phone, then take payment on collection/delivery or by bank transfer — whichever is easiest for you.

Yes! We love doing birthday parties, dessert tables, weddings and events around Worcestershire — sweet cones, trays of school sponge, the lot. Get in touch via the contact page with your date and ideas and we'll put a quote together.
